Work starts soon on Northolt Swimarama
More good news for Northolt in that work is due to begin on the construction of the new multi-million pound Swimarama.
Work building the state-of-the-art facility will begin on site on Monday, 29 September until the new leisure centre opens at the beginning of 2010.
The new centre will include:
- 8-lane 25-metre competition pool
- 12 x 16 metre learner pool
- dance studio
- gym with 120 – 140 fitness stations
- additional community hall for the Northolt area
- additional library for the Northolt area
- café with internet facilities
- a police safer neighbourhood ward base
With programmes in place to regenerate Greenford, Hanwell, West Ealing and a new Swimarama in Northolt, things are really looking up for Ealing North under the Conservative Council.
