Fun day at Hanwell Carnival
I attended the 2008 Hanwell Carnival with my kids on Saturday 21st June in Elthorne Park. Despite overcast weather conditions, the rain held off and a good time was had by all including local Hobbayne councillors Rosa Popham and Colm Costello and the Mayor of Ealing, Cllr Ian Green.
It was a tremendous family occassion and my kids really enjoyed the rides and stalls although there were mixed views on the dodgems (Sammy loved them but Beth was terrified by his driving). Beth won an inflatable hammer, which she later used to try and knock some sense into the Mayor of Ealing! We decided it would be a waste of time trying to knock some into the local MP.
